Dr. Paul Bongat is committed to providing patient-centered care. He advocates for a collaborative approach that empowers individuals with the knowledge needed to become partners in their care, and with multispecialty physicians who manage manifestations associated with rheumatic autoimmune conditions.

Dr. Bongat earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency training in internal medicine at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. He pursued his passion for rheumatology at Larkin Hospital in South Miami, Florida.

Dr. Bongat is an active member of the Nueces County Medical Society and has served on the executive board. He is passionate about advancement in rheumatologic research studies and is the Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trial studies.

Dr. Paul Bongat is double board certified by the American College of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP).
